The importance of system backup & restore<\/strong><\/p>\n

Many people have experienced the situation that operating system of computer goes wrong. As a matter of fact, there are a great many factors that can slow down or destroy your PC, including, virus, malware, system junk, cache files, corrupt files, application residue, system failure, bad sector, and other unknown reasons. How to fix this problem and bring system to workable state? A majority of users are willing to fix the problem via system restore which saves computer from system reinstallation. Second, On the top of the \u201cSystem Properties\u201d menu, click the tab \u201cSystem Protection\u201d and then you\u2019ll see the menu \u201cSystem Restore\u201d. Third, press the button \u201cCreate\u201d which locates on near the bottom right corner of the menu. Note that write a remark for the restore point which is descriptive and concise, so that you can remember the state and details of the restore point. Besides, operating system adds the current data and time for the restore point automatically for later reference. Finally, you\u2019ll receive a confirmation message that informs the restore point has been created successfully.<\/p>\n

However, this way of system restore is not the perfect solution and has limitations. System protect provided by Windows uses too much disk space. By default, Windows 7 allocated up to 10% of system partition size to be used by system partition, and the space will not be available as free space on the partition. Plus, the turning off system protection deletes all restore points and system can\u2019t be restored before the function is turned on again and a new restore point is created. And this function can only be used for partition whose file system is NTFS. Therefore, system protect is not the best solution for system restore<\/a>, and users are advised to use third-party programs to backup & restore system.<\/p>\n
