If you do not enter a name and the folder will be created with name \u201cNew Folder\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Case 5: Delete files from ext4 partition<\/h2>\n<p>PartitionGuru provides two ways of deleting files: Delete Files Directly and Delete Files Permanently. The \u201cDelete Files Directly\u201d works the same as deletion with Shift+Delete, but it is also able to delete files that cannot be deleted by system. If you use \u201cDelete Files Permanently\u201d, then files will be deleted for good and they can never be recovered by any data recovery methods.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Select files you want to delete from ext4 partition, and right-click them to select either \u201cDelete File Directly\u201d or \u201cDelete Files Permanently\u201d based on your requirement.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm the deletion by clicking correct button and selected files will be deleted from the ext4 partition.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Format partition to ext4 file system using DiskGenius Free Edition<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>Step 1. In DiskGenius, select the partition for which you want to format as EXT4, and click &#8220;Format&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2.
